As many of you know I’m part of the Freenode Staff.
Currently we are actively seeking for donations. Now why would you donate? Here is why:
You should donate to the PDPC, in order to help the organisation keep charitable status after re-incorporating in the UK, which would help the organisation continue working on projects for the wider FOSS community and allow current (and future) hardware and bandwith sponsors to receive tax relief on their donations, which over the space of a year often totals a substantial amount.
