You should donate to the PDPC, in order to help the organisation keep charitable status after re-incorporating in the UK, which would help the organisation continue working on projects for the wider FOSS community and allow current (and future) hardware and bandwith sponsors to receive tax relief on their donations, which over the space of a year often totals a substantial amount.

Tom and I popped over and spent a while looking at the netbooks they had, which were a decent selection, but they had a lack of information about them and half of them looked knackered, worn and fit for the bin, so yet again we gave up and drove to Lakeside to go to the apple store.

We arrived with no real intention to buy much, but after a good old play with the new apple macbook 13″ I decided to throw caution to the wind and do my bit to assist with attempting to prevent a recession and bought one.

It’s a great bit of hardware, lovely keyboard, great screen, a bit lower res than my old macbook pro, but a lot lighter and runs cooler.

I bought the 2.4Ghz, 2GB, 250GB HDD one, and it beats my old laptop hands down, and is so much easier to lug about.

Hardly a netbook, but to be honest I would probably get bored of that in the end, like my nokia n810…

So, I now have a June 2007 MacBook Pro 15″ for sale as well as my nokia n810, both in perfect condition, with the box and all.  if you would like to buy either of me, make me an offer?

Lunarpages.com seem quite nice, their support seems great (ie they have not banned me after being silly and blonde when I first moved over to them, I basically did a del *.* /y on my whole account, d’oh) the prices are not bad either, a little bit more than I was paying, but there we go.
